Weekend Childcare Home for Ages 3–12

 First Foundations Childcare operates as a licensed home daycare, meaning your child will experience care in a warm, family-oriented residential space. We intentionally provide a small-group environment where children ages 3–12 can build meaningful relationships, enjoy guided activities, and feel truly at home. 

 Children often thrive in home daycare environments where relationships are personal, transitions are gentle, and routines feel familiar.

At First Foundations Childcare, children are cared for by experienced, attentive caregivers who meet established safety and training requirements. All caregivers complete fingerprinting, comprehensive background checks, and required annual training to ensure they are prepared to provide safe, responsible care.

The program is led by a foster parent with experience supporting children’s safety, emotional needs, and daily routines in a structured home-based environment. This background brings a strong understanding of supervision, consistency, and creating a space where children feel secure and supported.

First Foundations Childcare serves children ages 3 to 12.

We offer weekend childcare only. Care is available on Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM and Sundays from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

 Weekend care is offered on a drop-in basis, depending on availability. Space is limited, so families are encouraged to contact us in advance to check capacity. 

 Families are billed based on the care option that best fits their needs. We offer hourly, daily, and weekly rates, depending on the length and frequency of care requested. Billing details, including applicable rates and payment timing, will be provided once availability is confirmed and care is scheduled 

 No. First Foundations Childcare and First Foundations Learning Home operate as separate programs. The weekday learning home provides structured educational support, while the weekend childcare program focuses on supervision and care only. 

 Children participate in supervised play, group activities, movement, and quiet time options. The day follows a calm and predictable flow designed to support comfort, safety, and positive social interaction. 

 Children should bring a labeled water bottle and any personal items they may need. Additional guidance will be provided when care is confirmed. 

 Families will receive specific details regarding food and snack policies during the enrollment or drop-in confirmation process.

To reserve weekend spots at First Foundations Childcare, families first complete a brief set of enrollment forms with required child and emergency information. An enrollment link can be sent by email or text for convenience.

Once enrolled, parents may request weekend care online or through the app, where real-time availability is visible. Requests are reviewed in the order received, and families receive confirmation once a spot is secured. Weekend spots are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, and confirmation is required prior to drop-off.

Our goal is to keep the process simple, transparent, and easy to manage so families always know what to expect.

 No. At this time, First Foundations Childcare does not provide transportation to or from our home location. Parents/guardians are responsible for drop-off and pick-up arrangements. 

To ensure the safety of children and maintain appropriate staffing, families are expected to pick up their child by the confirmed end time of care.  

What if I’m late for pick-up? 

• A 5-minute grace period is provided after the confirmed pick-up time.
   
• After the grace period, a late pick-up fee of $1.00 per minute will be applied.
   
• Late pick-up fees may be paid at the time of pick-up, within three (3) business days after the child’s pick-up, or at the next drop-off, whichever occurs first.
   
• Repeated late pick-ups may result in limitations on future reservations.
   

This policy allows us to maintain consistent staffing and provide dependable care for all families.

We understand that unexpected delays can occur. Families are encouraged to notify us as soon as possible if they anticipate being late. Emergency situations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
